FLOODING has forced organisers to cancel the Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Fair today.
The plug has been pulled on the annual show on its third day after the recent heavy rain left the site like a mud bath.
Vehicles were unable to move around the fields and scores of visitors' cars were yesterday stuck in the car park in the mud.
It is the first time in 37 years that the show, near Totton, has had to be cancelled.
Today, tractors - both vintage tractors from the show and modern day tractors called in to help - are helping pull vehicles off the site.
Show secretary Tony Greenham said: "We are completely washed out - the fields are totally water logged and it's just too much so we have had to cancel. We will have lost a lot of money, but we have no idea how much yet."
