Domino?s Pizza, the UK's number one pizza delivery company and leading retail property acquirer, is looking for a new store in?Southampton.
The company, which has more than 470 stores in the UK and Ireland, has identified Hedge End in Southampton as a key site for business growth this year.
Andy Emmerson, Business Development Director at Domino's Pizza, comments, Southampton is a vibrant community and our research has shown there is plenty of demand for the Domino?s home delivered pizza service so we are very keen to open a new store there.
"This will not only support significant investment in the local economy, but could also create between 25 and 30 full and part time jobs for local people."
"Each of our stores is owner run by a local entrepreneur which helps us to remain in touch with the needs of both customers and the surrounding area. As well as making a positive contribution to the local area through a range of community initiatives, this allows us to closely monitor issues such as litter, traffic and noise levels to minimise any impact on our neighbours.
Domino's prides itself on being a responsible operator which means local landlords secure a quality tenant with long-term security. Our extensive knowledge and experience in the retail sector also means we can make decisions on potential sites in a matter of weeks, so we are keen to speak to anyone who thinks that they have the right kind of property in the area.?
The specifications for an ideal site are: 1)Approx. 1,000 - 1200 sq. ft.
2)5.5m frontage / 20m minimum depth 3)Rear access 4)High visibility on busy roads 5)Dedicated car parking 6)Hot food takeaway consent 7) 15,000 households within a 3 mile radius 8) New housing preferred
