WINCHESTER Hospital Radio is offering a musical step back in time.
The station has issued a release featuring infectious interval music played in between schools TV programmes in the 1960s and 70s. The Day The TV Stood Still double CD compilation is the latest release on the station's own record label.
It is produced by station volunteer Steven Wills. He said: "I've loved putting this CD compilation together. Nearly all the tunes have remained in the vaults of London Music Publisher Chappells. I've brought them to life so people can enjoy these catchy and familiar tunes again."
The CD costs £12.99. Anyone wishing to purchase a copy should make cheques payable to "Winchester Hospital Radio" and send to: Steven Wills at Winchester Hospital Radio, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Romsey Road, Winchester.
