A MAN who was hallucinating after taking a cocktail of drugs jumped out of a first floor window with a toddler in his arms, a court heard.
David Patience had taken "everything apart from alcohol" and believed humanoids - aliens in human form - and other aliens were chasing him.
The 30-year-old grabbed the youngster and threw himself and the child backwards out of the upstairs window of the house in Bullar Road, Bitterne, Southampton, circled right.
Miraculously, they both escaped without serious injuries.
Patience is today behind bars after admitting charges including child cruelty and resisting arrest.
