THE man wanted for questioning into the death of Hampshire student Hannah Foster was back in the country tonight.
Maninder Pal Singh Kohli arrived back on British soil from India at around 6.30pm tonight flanked by detectives from Hampshire.
At Heathrow Airport he was escorted of a plane from Delhi and taken to Heathrow police station where he was held briefly before placed in a police van.
Escorted by two police outriders on bikes, he was then taken to Alton Police Station where he stepped out of the van in front of waiting media crews who managed to catch a glimpse of Kohli over the back wall of the station.
The former sandwich delivery driver was met by more officers working on Operation Springfield and taken into the custody suite where he is now being questioned about the alleged abducation, rape and killing of Hannah Foster in Southampton in March 2003.
