A MERRY-go-round of property deals in Wickham Road, Fareham, has kept commercial property agents, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell busy in recent months.
They have acted on behalf of a private client for both Dean Estate and the former Pinks Timber Sawmill.
At Dean Estate, computer firm Technology House offered to vacate their unit and switch to another office elsewhere on the estate.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell successfully negotiated a surrender of the lease and negotiated a new lease to a new applicant for a term of three years at a rent of £6,500 per annum. Technology House then took a three year lease on a new 2,000 sq ft storage unit at a rent of £10,000 per annum.
There are now only two units remaining out of 15 to let at Dean Estate. Building 23, pictured, the former nursery site is a modern detached building offering 9,895 sq ft of office and storage space with a generous allocation of 25 car parking spaces. The former cart shed, Unit 6, has been converted into open plan offices and the 1,204 sq ft first floor space is still available.
At the former Pinks Sawmill complex, Holloway Iliffe & Mitch-ell have let open storage land of approximately quarter of an acre. The yard area has been let at £10,000 per year for a period of two and a half years to Multi Pave, who are based in Hilsea.
A range of flexible storage units, workshops and offices are still on offer at this site, which is conveniently located within 1.5 miles of Junction 10 of the M27.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director Stuart Mitchell believes that the conversion of farm-type buildings remains popular with owners and occupiers alike.
