A GROUP of young actors have been given the opportunity to star in two short films in Southampton.
The actors, aged 11 to 20, starred in The Occupants, a horror written by renowned TV writer and actress Beverley Hills, filmed on location at Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley.
The second, Game, written by children's writer Sarah Culverhouse, was filmed in Southampton and the surrounding areas.
The films have been made for a special screening at Harbour Lights Cinema in Ocean Village, Southampton, in the autumn.
The films were made by Youngstar TV, which honed the youngsters' acting skills ready for their screen debut together with Bill Baxter, who has worked with stars like Linda Robson from Birds of a Feather and Doctor Who's Mary Tamm.
The films will be screened alongside a third film yet to be made, and Youngstar is looking for young actors to take part in the final film.
It is set to be made over five days, from August 20-24.
