FAREHAM MP Suella Fernandes has married partner Rael Braverman in the House of Commons.
To mark the marriage Suella also held a celebration in Fareham, where she was joined by family and friends at the Holiday Inn in Titchfield.
More than 100 Fareham residents – including many local councillors, close friends and family – joined the happy couple for a celebratory meal and party.
Suella, who was first elected for the Fareham seat in 2015, and Rael have known each other for around three years, meeting through their mutual love of politics.
Speaking after the event, Suella, 37, said: “I would like to thank everyone who came along to my marriage celebration yesterday and made it such a special occasion.
“Rael has been such a big support to me over the last few years and I am so thrilled to have married him and excited to be spending the rest of our lives together.”
The couple became engaged while on holiday in Cyprus in October. Their honeymoon is on hold until the Parliamentary recess in the summer.
