A ROMSEY car firm has won a national prize for customer service.
Cathedral Cars provides travel for weddings, with a range of classic vehicles through the ages.
At a ceremony in London, the company was awarded the Guides for Bridges UK customer service award for the second year running.
The business is the first to win the prize in consecutive years.
The company is owned by Brian and Liz Bennett, and the firm said they were extremely delighted to have won.
Brian said: "We are extremely delighted to have won again this year against even stronger competition, following success last year. It is very humbling to have beaten other, more established, wedding transport companies and to be the first transport company to win it two years in a row.
"It makes it even more rewarding when you know you're judged purely on the customer feedback your couples give you."
The company has a range of vehicles, including a 1935 Rolls Royce.
More than 8,000 wedding car companies throughout the UK and Northern Ireland were eligible to enter, and the Romsey company had been nominated by Ben and Rebecca Daniels following their wedding at East Horton Golf Club in Fair Oak on March 25 last year.
Brian added: "Every wedding is different and we firmly believe it is our responsibility to help make their special day the one they so rightly deserve!
"We hope this award proves to our customers that we offer a first-class service."
Liz added: "We have won a number of national awards since starting the business in 2011 – so we must be doing something our customers love."
