Founded by Edward John Auilley, Alderman Quilley school originally opened its doors to pupils in 1964.
Around 40 years later the school changed its name to Quilley School.
The mixed Secondary School enrolled 570 pupils in 2016, and because of the steady decline in enrollment numbers, the school merged with the Crestwood College for Business and Enterprise.
The site the school was situated on in Eastleigh now functions as the Cherbourg Campus for the merged schools.
