A MAN has been found guilty of raping a teenage A-Level student.
A jury unanimously found Abdi Mohammed, 21, guilty of sexually assaulting the then 18-year-old victim after he picked her up from outside Oceana nightclub.
Mohammed, was remanded into custody. A pre-sentence report will be compiled on the former Cantell School and City College student.
Mohammed took the victim from the club and into friend Safaraz Khan's home in Derby Road in August 2016.
He then raped the victim in Khan's bedroom.
The jury in Southampton Crown Court are still deliberating in the case of Khan, 20, who is alleged to have assisted and encouraged Mohammed in the rape.
