Police discovered thousands of pounds worth of illegal drugs heading for Hampshire's streets after stopping a car by chance.
Southampton Crown Court heard how officers decided to pull over the vehicle after seeing it reverse onto a main road in the early hours of the morning.
After following the car for a while, officers decided to pull the driver over fearing he was drunk.
But after a search of the car they uncovered more than £6,000 worth of amphetamines hidden in the boot.
Driver Stephen Williams, 54, of Willis Road in Southampton, has now been jailed for eight-months.
