A SOUTHAMPTON man has appeared in court to deny murdering his stepfather.
Andrejs Hohlovs, 22, of Trinity Court, Paynes Road, Freemantle, appeared at Winchester Crown Court yesterday. Hohlovs is charged with murdering Rem Aroyan, 51, originally from Russia, whose body was found in Trinity Court on May 21. Mr Aroyan died from multiple wounds.
Hohlovs followed proceedings through a Russian interpreter.
The judge, Recorder of Winchester, Michael Brodrick adjourned the case for trial due to start in Winchester on October 29.
Hohlovs was remanded in custody.
