A vulnerable teenager who went missing in Winchester this afternoon has been found safe and well.
Police appealed for help from the public to help find 13 year old Zac Hickey who was one of a group of four youngsters on a trip to Winchester city centre escorted by two carers.
He went missing from a High Street stationery shop at about 1pm and police issued an alert to the public to report any sightings.
Zac, who is autistic with severe learning difficulties was later found in Badgers Farm area of the city at around 3.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said he was found safe and well and was being taken to be reunited with his parents at a local police station.
