A HAMPSHIRE convenience store has been caught selling alcohol to under-age customers for the third time in just three months.
The One Stop shop in Stubbington was one of six premises targeted by police in Hampshire as they continue their clampdown on retailers who sell alcohol to under-18s.
Officers sent an under-age test purchaser into the shop in Crofton Lane and the teenager succeeded in buying a bottle of wine.
The shop failed similar test purchases in June and July.
Hampshire police banned the store from selling any alcohol to anyone for 48 hours as a punishment for the sale, while Fareham Borough Council is expected to look into the shop's licence.
A spokesman for the shop declined to comment.
