A SOUTHAMPTON nurse has won an award for designing a poster that could help save children's lives.
Sarah Hartfree developed a poster at Southampton General Hospital with basic information that medical students needed when working with children.
The award is from NHS Innovations South East, which works with NHS inventors to help them develop opportunities from their ideas.
Sarah, a paediatric clinical skills facilitator, was named South Central Innovator of the Quarter for designing the posters, which contained the normal heart rates and blood pressure levels for every children's age group and signs to look out for in sick children.
