WITH a name like Waight, how could they fail to succeed?
Less than two years ago, Bill and Brenda Waight couldn't even put their arms around each other for a hug.
Bill could barely tie his own shoelaces and Brenda was getting out of breath just climbing the stairs.
Neither of them thought about exercise and healthy eating - their regular pub meals and cream cakes had become a way of life and the pounds had piled on.
It was only when Bill saw a physiotherapist for sciatica and was told he was obese and had to lose weight that they decided enough was enough.
The couple, both in their 70s and grandparents of four, have now lost more than 10 stone between them and have gone on to grab hold of a whole new lease of life as a result.
