DRIVERS on the A31 faced traffic choas today following two seperate incidents.
A vehicle caught fire on the westbound carriageway this afternoon, causing hour-long delays.
Drivers were warned to avoid the westbound carriageway from the M27 following the incident at Picket Post.
Tailbacks were reported as far back as the M27 junction one, for Cadnham.
Traffic bosses say all lanes are now open and delays are easing.
Now drivers are being warned of further delays on the westbound carriageway, after a broken down car towing a caravan blocked a lane near Ringwood.

One lane is closed between the M27 and the A338.
Traffic officers are on the scene.
The incident comes just hours after police confirmed a person was killed in a crash near Poulner Hill at about 9.45pm on Thursday.
