BROCKENHURST went carnival crazy as the New Forest staged one of its last major events of the summer.
This year's carnival queen was nine-year-old Georgina Killengray, of Brockenhurst, who was driven through the village in a 1960 Jaguar XK 150.
One of the most eye-catching floats was a miniature steam engine called Lady Ann, driven by Charley Harvey, 64, of Sway. Mr Harvey gave several celebratory toots on the vehicle's whistle as it trundled through the parish.
Organised by Lymington Lions, the carnival was followed by a village fete held in the grounds of Brockenhurst College.
