Police are hunting a man who tried to run over a woman in a race attack as she waited for a bus.
The 30-year-old woman, who was wearing traditional Islamic dress with head covering, was waiting at a bus stop at Lordshill Centre, Southampton, when a man in a car pulled up alongside her.
After verbally abusing the woman the man attempted to reverse his car onto the pavement towards the woman, while continuing to shout at her.
He then drove off towards a nearby roundabout, before driving back towards the woman, continuing to verbally abuse her.
The woman, who is from Southampton, ran into a nearby library to escape further abuse. She was uninjured, but was left shaken by the incident.
