HAMPSHIRE cricketers may well bowl a few maidens over after baring all for a new calendar.

The Hawks, have stripped down for a racy new calendar with only various bats, pads and gloves covering their modesty.

There's not a box in sight as 11 of the 24-strong team ditch their whites in aid of national charity Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.

And although international superstars Shane Warne and Kevin Pietersen are not involved, the likes of England all-rounder Dimi Mascarenhas and wicketkeeper Nic Pothas (pictured) feature in all their glory.

Others leaving their clothes in the clubhouse for the Naked Hawks calendar include Michael Carberry, Greg Lamb and Kevin Latouf.

Each of the players poses for a month of the year - and buyers are being warned to expect a few more surprises for December's balcony shot.

All the proceeds will be given to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.

The 2008 calendar is £9.99 and goes on sale shortly.

Meanwhile at The Winston Hotel in Southampton barmaids have agreed to bare all for a risqué calendar to provide a cheeky boost to a fundraising campaign that kicks off with a whole day of fun and entertainment at the pub today.

The idea is the brainchild of the Winston's former marketing organiser Laura Beedle.

Having come up with the idea to help raise cash alongside her new boss' bid to run the New York Marathon in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign, the 25-year-old, right, then had to convince her ex-colleagues to get their kit off.

"A lot of the girls were a bit wary, particularly about how their partners would react, but I managed to get them all on board," Laura told the Daily Echo.

"It's a really good cause, because we've all been touched by breast cancer - everyone knows someone who has had it.
