AFTER more than 100 days at sea, a disabled Hampshire sailor is just days away from completing his unique single-handed circumnavigation of Great Britain.
Geoff Holt is currently making his way along the south coast - and is expected to cross the Hamble finish line on Wednesday morning.
Geoff set off from Hamble on the voyage in May and has since covered more than 1,600 miles in his specifically modified 15ft trimaran Freethinker.
The 41-year-old from Shedfield is now on the home stretch, and having reached Eastbourne on Thursday and Shoreham on Friday, Geoff made the best of the weekend weather by eating up the remaining few miles to Hamble.
For the latest on Geoff's progress and the plans to celebrate his return to Hamble see Monday's Daily Echo.
