MOTORISTS were facing major disruptions this afternoon after police closed a busy Hampshire road following a serious accident.
The A36 was closed from the Ower roundabout exit at around 11.15 this morning because of the crash further up the road near Salisbury.
Hampshire police said they were awaiting confirmation from their Wiltshire counterparts before reopening the route.
