POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 40-year-old woman was raped by two men in Southampton.
The men got talking to the woman who had been in the Walkabout pub in the High Street in the early hours of today.
At about 2.15am she started walking up the High Street with two men past Jongleurs and the Bargate.
It is then believed she was hit over the head and raped somewhere near Palmerston Park.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the men with the woman or the attack itself.
The men are both described as aged about 20 and of Asian or Middle Eastern appearance.
Officers have released two CCTV images showing the victim with two men they would like to speak to.
Officers are asking that they or anyone who knows who they may be contacts detectives at Shirley CID on 0845 045 4545.
