A SPEEDING motorist brazenly tried to con his way out of a fine by posing as a doctor on an emergency call.

In court he escaped a disqualification and was then awarded more than £1,600 to cover his costs on the back of a fake letter.

But the "doctor" - whose car was found to contain doctor on call' signs and medical equipment - was a fraudster.

Omid Mohammed Chiang said he felt ashamed of his true job as a health care manager and used the signs to boost his credibility and help him park more easily.

Now Chiang, 26, has been warned he faces a prison sentence after he admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice and attempted deception.
