SOUTHAMPTON'S reputation as a retailer's paradise has been confirmed by the news that dozens more stores are clamouring to open a shop in the city.
More than 70 shops, restaurants, hotels and even a casino operator are desperately looking for premises within the city, which was recently voted one of the top ten places to shop in the UK.
The influx of big name brands could trigger a jobs bonanza and change the face of the city, attracting tens of thousands more visitors each year.
Those seeking new outlets include House of Fraser, above, Reiss, noodle chain Wagamama, Café Rouge and Portuguese eatery Nando.
