THOUSANDS of festival goers were this morning facing more delays following a fault on one of three services running from Southampton to the Isle of Wight.
The problems began yesterday when one of the services had to be cancelled due to an engine fault and specialist parts had to be flown in from Switzerland.
This morning Red Funnel bosses said that the problems were continuing and that people planning to travel to East Cowes - including hundreds attending this weekend's Bestival - should ring ahead of their departure for revised check-in times.
They said they "anticipated congestion" at the ferry port where all services were expected to be subject to an hour delay after 9am today.
Customers were being asked to arrive at the port 15 minutes after their due departure time. Anyone wanting more information should call 0844 844 9998 and press option one.
