A 62-YEAR-OLD man was this morning found dead behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a telegraph pole in a Hampshire village.
A police patrol car came across the Renault Laguna on the B3049 outside Rookley Manor in Up Somborne near Stockbridge at about 2am.
A sweep of the area found no other passengers. The road was closed this morning while police carried out an accident investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Call 0845 045 45 45 quoting Operation Hampshire.
