Southampton fire crews spent nearly an hour fighting a blaze at a house last night.
Two crews from Hightown fire station and one from St Mary's rushed to the semi detached home in Newtown Road, Weston, just before 9.40pm after a fire started in one of the bedrooms.
By the time the firefighters got there the fire was burning fiercely and it took 50 minutes to get the flames under control.
No one was injured in the blaze and it is not yet known what started the fire.
