Tadburn Panthers got their first points on the board in the Tyro league thanks to their three pronged attack of Jordans! Jordan Barnes got a hat-trick, Jordan Oland a brace and Jordan Sheath was instrumental in some impressive build up play.
BTC had their keeper to thank for some spectacular saves, otherwise the score could have been worse.
Tadburn took the lead on four minutes when Angus Marshall fed Jordan Barnes down the left, who got to the bye line before crossing, George Daniels was there for the tap-in but the keeper had other ideas and blocked bravely at his feet.
Unfortunately for him though Jordan Oland had timed his run to perfection, arriving in the box to slam home the rebound from ten yards.
BTC soon created their first opening but the shot was sliced wide from the edge of the area and Tadburn were able to clear the danger, and thanks to Adam Olives' quick thinking launched a counter attack and won a series of corners.
BTC were defending resolutely though, denying Tadburn a second goal, and gave another warning on 20 minutes but were denied the shot when Max Monson tackled and again Tadburn broke swiftly up the other end to gain another corner.
The pressure paid off when Oland crossed from the right and Barnes made no mistake in making it 2-0. But BTC soon reduced the arrears scoring from a one on one situation just before half time to make it 2-1.
The two goal cushion was restored soon after the break when a good move involving Sheath and Monson put Barnes in for his second goal of the match, then Oland hit one from the edge of the box which the keeper could not reach to make it 4 - 1.
That meant two Jordans' were on a hat-trick. Meanwhile Lewis Houghton was having a good game at right back, in a defence well marshalled by Harry Cornell, and it was Lewis who turned defence into attack when his marvellous through ball gave Barnes his chance for a hat trick but the keeper saved again.
He also denied Andrew May his first goal for Tadburn before the Jordan, Jordan combination worked again, Oland putting Barnes clean through to get his hat-trick.
William Fielder came back on in the second half and the extra rest seemed to have done him good as he was on fire down the left wing, winning possession, twisting and turning to create more openings.
Jordan Sheath almost got on the score sheet with a good shot that the keeper blocked and Barnes should have got his forth from the rebound but put it over from two yards!
There was still time for the keeper to produce the best save of the match, tipping Marshalls firm header over at full stretch, but the match ended with a comfortable win for Tadburn.
There was no doubt that BTC's keeper would be their man of the match, and although Tadburn had several note worthy performances, the hat-trick man Jordan Barnes had to take it.
