A YO Bike was set on fire and left hanging from a basketball net in a Southampton park.
Fire crews from St Mary's were called to the scene at St. James's Park, Shirley, at 8.10pm on Saturday.
When they arrived on the scene, firefighters were greeted to a Yo Bike on fire, and hanging from the park's sports equipment.
Firefighters left the scene at 8.30pm after putting the fire out quickly, and brought the bike down underneath the basketball net, where it has stayed until this morning, confirmed a member of staff at the Park Life Cafe.
Sarah Jones, a mother of two who lives in the area said: "The park was set up about eight years ago now by the National Lottery Good Causes, but over the past couple of years the equipment has been regularly abused."
She added: "Broken Glass and damage makes it unsafe for the children to play. We have a lot of concerns about our children playing in the area."
Anyone with information on the incident can call police on 101.
