In the top of the table clash between Eastleigh and Laverstock and ford it was the away team that scored first.
Laverstock converted a penalty in the 10th minute to take an early lead.
Eastleigh slowly began to get control and a long range effort by Josh Jellis levelled the scores.
Tommy Wright then put Eastleigh 2-1 up in the 27th minute.
The start of the second half saw both teams working hard to gain control but in the 40th minute a through ball put Matthew Petley clear and he smashed it high over the Laverstock keeper.
However, Laverstock hit back 5 minutes later to make it 3-2.
As Laverstock tired, Eastleigh pushed forward and Tommy Wright broke clear to make it 4-2.
Manager Andy Petley said "It was a fantastic game played by two talented squads of boys who gave their all and played the game in the right spirit.
