Granley produced their first win of the season, 9-5, in front of an excited home crowd.
Creative passing from midfield to the on form strickers', backed up by a solid defence, gave Granley a 5-1 half time lead.
The second half saw full determination from both teams, with Hythe battling hard to claw back the deficit.
However, the home team continued their first half performance with hat tricks from Aaron Tucker and Adam Freeland.
The Granley keeper, Tom Barnett was not to be outshone by the strikers by giving a superb penalty save.
Full credit to both teams for giving a thoroughly enjoyable game.
Full Time 9-5 to Granley.
