After their victorious first game of the season, Sarisbury Sparks were in great form again.

Playing against only 10 players of Fawley Falcons, they scored in the first minute with a fine shot by Dylan Owen.

Following that, Sparks dominated the game, creating more chances like another good run and shot by Dylan, which ended only a bit wide.

After about ten minutes, Fawley committed a foul on George Carter-Jones in front of their goal, which resulted in a penalty, taken and neatly netted by Blaine Ridyard for a 2:0 score.

Sparks kept dominating, but often lost the ball and did not spread out as widely as they could, thus affecting their passes.

During a bit of a scramble, one pass went through to Joe Singleton, who took the ball up the field and scored another fine Sparks goal.

In another attack by Sparks, Fawley's keeper came out to the side, then Dylan Giles passed the ball back past him and towards the middle of the goal, where four Sarisbury players were waiting and Dylan Owen tapped it into the net, making it 4:0 at half time.

In the second half, Sparks again scored within the first 2-3 minutes, this time it was Dylan Giles who rocketed the ball home.

Shortly after this, Sparks gave away the ball, the defence lost their co-ordination, and Fawley's Matthew Clark scored an unstoppable goal.

Sarisbury kept losing the ball to their opponents and lost some of their dominance by staying too close together and getting caught offside, but after a corner taken by Fawley, Sparks managed to break.

Dylan Owen performed a great run right through to Fawley's goal and secured his hattrick high in the net.

Only a minute later, Fawley's Matthew Clark placed another unbeatable shot into Sparks' goal to make it 6:2.

Dylan Owen managed another long run, but his shot went straight at the keeper, and when he picked up the rebound, he booted it over the bar.

In another scramble in front of Fawley's goal, Dylan Owen passed to George Carter-Jones and Joe Singleton, and it was Joe's shot that scored 7:2.

At the other end, keeper Ian Domone made a brave save, then Dylan Owen netted the ball again for Sarisbury, the linesman indicated an offside, but the referee gave the goal.

After a dodgy goal kick by Sparks, Fawley had a great chance, but luckily for Sparks the ball hit the bar, and Ian Domone made two great saves in quick succession.

In the final minutes, Sparks increased pressure on Fawley again, everyone giving their best now, spreading out more and passing better.

There were two more near misses by Dylan Giles and two further near goals by George Presdee.

There could have been even more goals, but the final score was 8:2.
