A NOT-for-profit group will launch to help stroke victims in Winchester.
Health Enhancing Lifestyle Programme (HELP) Hampshire Stroke Clinic is an initiative set up at Winchester University to reduce the chance of people having a second stroke.
The aim is to do this through low-cost, flexible, community-based education and exercise clinics.
The initiative launches in January with a free event on January 17 from 6pm till 8pm.
During the evening a question and answer session will take place and the HELP Hampshire clinic team and guest speakers will provide a presentation regarding the purpose, location and aspirations of the initiative.
The event will be in the Stripe Complex, located on the King Alfred Campus, Sparkford Road.
Booking is required for this event and the free tickets are available from the University’s website.
