A VENUE in Romsey is set to turn into a gin lover's heaven next month as a festival is set to come to the town.
The event will take place on June 15 and will be hosted by The Gin Stall at Crosfield Hall in Broadwater road.
Guests will be able to attend two sessions throughout the day.
The first session will take place from 1pm until 5pm, the second session will take place from 6.30pm until 10.30pm.
There will be more than 50 different gins on offer as well as distillers, live music and food stalls.
Director and owner of The Gin Stall, Ally Targett from Andover began holding gin festivals across the South East last year.
She said they were “a big success” and that she was “overwhelmed.”
Ally who set up The Gin Stall two years ago added: “Gin has boomed worldwide of the past few years.”
“People should come along as it will be a nice atmosphere and it is an event that will attract people of all ages.
“It’s a lovely social thing to do with your friends and people can try the gin before they buy as gin can be expensive.”
When asked why she decided to bring the festival to Romsey, Ally said: “Crosfield Hall is the perfect location and Romsey has the right client base for us.
“We want to promote the festivals in the local area.”
Up to 300 people can attend the event and tickets cost £13.50.
The ticket price will include a branded gin glass, a gin guide and a lanyard as well as four free gin samples.
There will be four distillers at the event including HMS Spirits Company LTD, from Fawley.
