A NEW adventure golf course set in a mythical land of giant sea monsters, shipwrecks and moving, life-sized dinosaurs is to open near Southampton.
Mighty Claws Adventure Golf is to launch on Saturday in Hedge End.
Magical for families and great fun for adults, the course offers an experience that has been adapted from the children’s story, ‘The Mighty Claws Follow A Monster’, written by Nat Luurtsema.
The VIP launch will include a book reading by the author herself, ‘mighty munchies’ and the chance to be one of the first to play the course before official opening.
A spokesperson from Mighty Claws said: “Set in a mythical land of giant sea monsters, mysterious shipwrecks and moving, life-sized dinosaurs. Mighty Adventure Golf mixes a great day out with storytelling and learning.
“Magical for families and great fun for adults, it’s an immersive experience.
“We really hope you’ll join us for what is set to be a ‘rexcellent’ day.”
The Southampton course will have a Viking theme featuring sea monsters, shipwrecks and giant moving dinosaurs.
Mighty Claws already have two courses in Bournemouth and Colchester, making Southampton’s new feature the third course to date.
The Bournemouth course is called Jurassic Rampage and features moving dinosaurs, thundering waterfalls and steaming volcanoes and is adapted from the story The Mighty Claws Don’t Want To Hunt.
The course is Colchester is adapted from the book The Mighty Claws Storm A Fortress.
Visitors can enter a mythical world, filled with cascading waterfalls, ancient artefacts and life sized, moving dinosaurs.
The company provides a range of magical landscapes, life-sized dinosaurs and super crazy golf.
Each course is completely unique and adapted from the children’s book series, Mighty Claws Adventures.
The Southampton course is located on Upper Northam Road in Hedge End and the VIP launch is due to start at 11am.
