IT’s the festival that fashion forgot and it’s about to get under way in Southampton.
More than 10,000 revellers, clad head to toe in neon, leg warmers and big hair, are making their way to the Common for Let’s Rock Southampton 2019.
The popular revival event, which sees a series of retro acts perform, is back for its sixth incarnation.
The temperature is set to hit the mid 20s and music lovers are ready for a day of sun-soaked festival fun.
The Reprobates Party Live, featuring 80s dance floor fillers, will get the event under way at midday before I Want To Be Free singer Toyah takes to the stage.
Let’s Rock will be headlined by Billy Ocean with sets from the likes of Erasure’s Andy Bell, Belinda Carlisle, Nik Kershaw and Shalamar.
