FAMILY members of Lucy McHugh say "justice has been done" after her killer was found guilty of murder.
It comes after Stephen Nicholson, 25, of no fixed address, was found guilty of the teenager's murder.
He was also found guilty of rape and sexual activity with another girl, who was 14 at the time.
In a short statement, read by police outside Winchester Crown Court this afternoon, Lucy's family said: "I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the support from our closest family and friends during this harrowing time.
"The dedication from Hampshire Constabulary, specialist teams from across the country and the community who have helped get justice for my precious daughter Lucy."
