A HAMPSHIRE road was closed this morning after a car hit a tree and landed on its side.
Kings Copse Avenue in Hedge End was closed at 6.55am today after a single car struck a tree and landed on its side blocking the road.
Only one vehicle was involved in the accident and no one was injured.
Police attended the incident and closed the road, but the it was quickly reopened thanks to the help of a passing Go Plant Road Sweeper.
The road is now clear and is open for traffic.
