THEY raced over obstacle courses, juggled about on drum races, strenuously made stakes, mended punctures and rode a furious musical chairs on motorcycles.
The young farmers’ show in Fareham on May 12, 1979, played host to myriad crafts as visitors poured into the venue at Cams Hall on the banks of Fareham Creek.
The show would was a major benefit to young farmers eager to widen their knowledge of mechanical engineering as well as botanical fields.
