THOUSANDS of dance music descended on a Southampton city centre park to see some of the world's top DJs takes to the decks.
Top names including Radio One favourite Pete Tong and British DJ and producer Patrick Topping performed to their fans at the first-ever Docklands Festival.
The event, expected to be attended by 10,000 music fans, took place at Hoglands Park on Saturday.
Among the top names performing were two high-profile DJs both originally from Southampton.
DJs Alan Fitzpatrick and Ronnie Spiteri, who began his music career at the now-closed Junk, both took to the decks in front of thousands of their home fans.
The event was organised by Dirty Box Promotions and was linked with Above Bar Street nightclub Switch.
