WITH giant mugs of beer in hand, hundreds of people flocked to Southampton Guildhall square to mark the return of Oktoberfest.
Kitted out in traditional lederhosen, friends, family and partners came together took to eat, drink and be merry for the German festival.
This year's event took place over three days and has in the past attracted over 9,000 people.
The event boasted a live Oompah Band and DJs, as well as a lederhosen bar and food stalls serving Bratwurst, Hanz the Butcher Hog Roasts and more.
