A MAN has been charged after gunshots were fired in a Southampton underpass.
Amareece Singh Taak, 24, of Argyle Road, Southampton, has been charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence.
Police were previously alerted to reports of shots being fired in the underpass between Kingsway and Craven Street.
There were a number of people in the area at the time but no-one was injured.
The incident happened at around 11.15pm on Friday, October 25.
Taak will appear at Southampton Magistrates Court this Monday.
However, officers are continuing to investigate the wider circumstances of the incident.
