HE may have made his first on-screen appearance more than ninety years ago, but in 1989 he showed his happy face at Marks and Spencer, Southampton.
The date was November 7 when many a child’s favourite big-eared rodent took to the aisles to entertain children.
Awe, amazement, happiness, intrigue and even fear; the youngsters’ faces showed a broad range of emotions as they met the giant mouse.
Parents and grandparents watched on as their loved ones interacted with the cute critter.
