GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has thanked residents for re-electing her with a majority of more than 22,000.
Ms Dinenage fought off competition from Labour’s Tom Chatwin, as well as Martin Eric Pepper of the Liberal Democrats.
Following her victory, Ms Dinenage took to Twitter to thank supporters.
She wrote: “Thank you to the people of Gosport, Lee o the Solent, Stubbington & Hill Head for re-electing me.
“A great privilege to continue as MP for the best constituency in the country.
“Big thanks to my fantastic team who have worked so hard.”
Ms Dinenage was first election in 2010 under Prime Minister David Cameron.
