A CYCLIST caused traffic problems on one of Hampshire's busiest motorways on Sunday morning.
The biker is was seen riding along the M27 near Junction 11, Fareham.
Riding a bicycle along the motorway is against the Highway Code.
Police were called to the scene and removed the cyclist, who is now safe.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We were first called at 10.56am today to a report of a concern for the welfare of a man seen cycling on the M275 near Portchester.
"It was further reported that the man was on the westbound M27 at Fareham.
"Officers attended. The man was escorted from the carriageway and is now safe."
