A SOUTHAMPTON man who assaulted a woman, damaged her wall and sent abusive messages is to be sentenced in the crown court.
Oliver Fountain, 34, assaulted his victim during an incident on January 6.
He also damaged a wall belonging to her property on the same day and sent abusive messages between January 4 and January 7.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Fountain, of Weston Grove Road, Southampton, pleaded not guilty to assault, criminal damage and sending an offensive electronic message.
But he was found guilty following a trial at the same court.
Now magistrates have sent the case to Southampton Crown Court for sentencing on March 23.
Fountain was given bail until his next hearing, with conditions not to enter the street where his victim lives.
The exclusion condition is to be monitored with an electronically monitored tag.
