Game Name: Cheggers Party Quiz
Platform: PS2
Publisher: Oxygen Interactive
Rating: 3+ (PEGI)
Genre: Quiz
Everyone knows and loves good old Cheggers from Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, Big Breakfast and more. Not only has Keith Chegwin kept us entertained on television but also with music singles and as a DJ on radio. A video game is about the only thing that Cheggers has not been a part of - until now.
The game works in the same fashion as most quiz games, with the players/contestants having to answer questions and get more points than their opponents do. The questions asked in the game are all based upon popular entertainment including film, music, celebrities and more.
There are 8 rounds to get your mental juices flowing and are all variations of multiple choice questioning. Some will require you to buzz in faster than you opponents and some will have you picking an answer from a picture clue.
As I am sure that many of you are aware, Keith Chegwin can be a very funny man. This however does not translate well to a computer game. Cheggers cheesy lines will often have your toes curling. The humour is simply cringe worthy.
Cheggers Party quiz is a very basic quiz game with no frills or standout features. Not even a complete legend like Keith Chegwin could breathe life into this lifeless game.
