IAN Baird reckons Eastleigh striker Andy Forbes needs to "look in the mirror" after scoring and starring in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Cambridge City.
Because, as far as the Spitfires' boss is concerned, Forbes should be attracting just as much attention as Cambridge's highly sought-after striker Michael Gash.
"Everyone's talking about Michael Gash being worth £100,000, albeit that he's only 21 and Forbesy's 28," said Baird.
"But what I saw from Forbesy on Saturday was a complete striker's performance and fair play to him for that because I gave him a bit of a hard time after last week's game against Bromley.
"Forbesy's response was to score a typical goalscorer's goal, lead the line well and work his socks off. I was really pleased with him."
